I lit the candle

Worked on a study of light and some reflective surfaces. While in the middle the doorbell rang.. choppy sections in my painting :( the flow was interrupted LOL.

Study in blue and purple

A very trying day, health wise. Looking at the painting now I think it reflects my feelings. Moody, undertones of pain and the play between youthfulness and aging.

I have my aunt from Greece visiting and another aunt from NJ came over to visit her so i ended up staying late at the parents and had no energy to post last night.. so here it is :D

Morning Splendor - Watercolor

Woke up really early this morning and felt inspired to paint, so I did. I had a lot of errands and a dinner but I carried my crochet with me and I finished quite a bit. Very happy with my progress.
