Day 16

Waking up this early isn't as bad anymore, except when I go to bed after 12. I was masking foofy's  hairs with a needle last night and it took me forever only to find out it was again too thick ! So I will have to find a solution for that issue.

Day 14

I better be healthy (willing the headache and sinus irritation away)
Started rocky today, with the headache. I didn't get up until 8:30! Regardless the obstacle I sat down and created another wrapped stone. Hematite with the word HOPE on it.  I was feeling hopeless yesterday- not sure why. So the word hope popped out and I grabbed it.

day 13

So I decided to  change things around and do a jewelry piece today. It's been a while since I added a pendant and my stones/crystals have been calling out my name.
I chose the snowflake obsidian one with the word LOVE on it. This week with all the news about the Tuscon shooting, the innocent people gone and some still clinging to life - Love seemed to just scream at me to be used. Love heals everything.  This specific stone doesn't have that many snowflakes in it.

this stone is a grounding one , repels negative energy and can bring the truth to the surface (read article for more details)  It just felt right.

I usually don't design my wrap before I do it, simply because I am usually guided on how the flow should go.   A heart at the center top has spirals springing out. It can be worn on either side though I like the intricate wire work to show.

12 days and going strong

The snow was a disappointment  today. We didn't get as much as the weather people claimed.
That didn't stop me from doing my daily studio time. Birdies were quiet for a change so I enjoyed almost 3 hours of watercolor fun. This one is a tribute to Damian who went to birdie heaven 8mos ago. He is still missed by all, especially by Toni his young bride. Damian we calculated was 16 years old and he had a wonderful happy and full life. Toni still cries for him in the early morning hours.

1_11_11 (day 11)

A powerful day. They say the gates open, wishes get granted and miracles happen.
I did meditate and will repeat again tonight at 11.
Waking up at 6am when going to bed after one is tough... as I dreamed I was up at 6 after i looked at my phone, only to jolt out of bed at 7am when my Big Ben alarm clock went off... Just in time for the gorgeous sunrise.

Changes are good ... right?

Today was the last day of full time work after 2 mos of filling  in for a coworker. I did enjoy the routine, though sometimes work could get crazy. And it wasn't easy waking up at 6 to paint till 8 and then be ready in 30 to get there. So today as a celebration I painted flowers in a vase. Acrylics. Ran into a slight problem - my paints were dried out. 2 of them. Like most artists I wont let go of the colors until they are all done. So my background turned out a bit darker than what I had planned. Also I need to figure out how to take better pictures of my art. I am getting too much reflective light.
