It was a long day filled with tests... yes that time for renewing the Real Estate License arrived and completed :D  When I was taking breaks I attempted to take a picture of a spider eating a mosquito and a big dragonfly but they both ran as soon as they saw me :(

Day 150 From bright to dark

The day started with brilliant skies and white fluffy clouds and ended with almost a scene from Independence Day!  During the afternoon I thought I would have the opportunity to see Collin Farrell as he was filming scenes again at the building sis's therapy is at... but no such luck. they had the front of the building closed and had to go in through the back...

Back is feeling so much better. My Mint plant was ready, and I cut the first batch. It's ready now for the dehydrator :D it smells so good ! Nothing better than mint tea for an upset tummy or a refreshing cool  drink during the hot summer months.

Day 146 I am blessed with the views

Pain is still here.. spent again most of the day in bed reading and relaxing the back. I took a few pictures with my phone of the beautiful clouds. If I were not in pain you would probably be looking at least 100 shots...  As I said on FB.. I am blessed with the views of the sky I have.

Day 145 Moodiness

Still in pain and the weather didn't help. Started as a beautiful day with lots of sun by 2pm we had severe thunderstorms and then changed again to a beautiful day.

Day 144 Amazing skies

Woke up today still in pain but much much better. Not used to having my back hurt so much that it stops me from moving. Or maybe I just didn't feel like moving, therefore my back gave out. Hmm...
I got to meditate watching the clouds go by against a bright blue sky. A moving painting. I captured a couple of moments. I want to turn the big one into a painting

Day 142 Moody Monday

Apparently yesterday going in and out of the trolley car  during the mural art tour I must have pulled my lower back muscles or pinched a nerve. Today I spent the day mostly in bed reading.
Earlier tonight as I was looking out the window I saw some interesting smoke like cloud  coming out of the State Penitentiary.

Turns out they were testing fireworks ... i couldn't move fast enough with my pain so I wan't able to capture some of it.

Day 141 Mural Art tour and a solar eclipse!

I was a lucky girl today. One of my mom's friend had a previous engagement and gave me her ticket to go on the Mural Arts tour  from our building. The weather was beautiful and our tour guide Lisa did an amazing job. We toured the murals of West Philadelphia as the city has over 3000 murals!
Took most of the pictures with my Nikon D70 and some with my HTC android phone cam.
I did not have time to play with the pictures so you are getting them right off the camera.
